    1. It is an honor to be able to interview you for ASCP - what do you think of our site so far?

    The sight is amazing..I hope you guys keep it up...

    2. please explain how you feel when you look at the first issues of daily bread and see yourself - how you were back then.

    ..Those photos remind me of so many amazing memories..man..How do I feel?..I guess I should feel old..But I dont..I still feel 16...Skating keeps you young..

    3. alot of kids want to know how you got so good at rollerblading, well how did you?

    Watching videos..and trying to mimic Arlo ,Tom Fry, Brooke, Jess and Chris Edwards. Those videos showed me a culture that I wanted to be apart of..

    4. who was your first sponsor, and how did you feel when you first got sponsored?

    My first sponsor was fifty-50... I got involved with 50-50 before its actual conception. Those were amazing times...I have so much history with 50-50 .. 50-50 is the original skater run company. The beginning of it all ..



    5. you skate at a high level all of the time - can you go higher? I mean, is it difficult to get up the nuts to do even crazier shit?
    ...It is really motivating to see all the younger guys pushing the sport....It's inspiring.....I've learned to find my own pace..Progressing keeps me going.....

    6. you enjoy music alot, who are some of the artist you know and tell us a bit about that.

    Right now I'm into a lot of different music..I've been playing Jack Johnson's new record nonstop..On the hip hop side..I've been listening to Aesop Rock..I'm a big Del fan...I listen to a lot of reggae and dance hall too......

    My friends are really good DJ's ..They've been producing original tracks with local- underground artists from California..I've been listening to their stuff a lot.(DJ MEL, AXIS ONE, GOLDEN CHYLD, GNOBILITY).They're also involved in the new ROLLING game that is coming out this November...Be sure to look out for it!

    7. you have been involved in the new Rolling game from the start - what is your view on this game and how it will impact rollerblading?

    I'm excited..I think its going to be an amazing.game...The industry is involved ..Everyone is giving their input...we'll all see when November 15th comes around..

    8. you have been skating for USD for many years now, what is your relationship to the company and other members of the team?

    ..We've all been through a lot together..Especially myself, Josh, Dustin and you....A lot of crazy tours..A lot of crazy parties..Women...fights..you name it....We're the last of the original Team..Still thuggin it out..

    9. you own Dyna, Runnersproject, part of England, and the entire IMYTA system - are you a millionaire?

    haha..I don't fully own all of those companies..and no I am far from being a millionare..

    10. if you had never put on a pair of skates, what do you think you would have ended up doing?

    hmm..That's a hard one..Im sure it would'nt have been as amazing as what Im doing now

    11. you are Jon Julio, and you cant draw inspiration from yourself - so who gets you pumped to skate? and skate better?

    music is a big inspiration...skating with my homies...art is inspiring too....Its easy to stay inspired when you are surrounded by amazing people all the time..

    12. what do you think is the meaning of life? what is it to you?

    Lets see..the first things that come to my mind when I read this question........

    -Having fun,experiencing ,learning ...traveling..meeting new people..-GROWING,..happiness..

    13. you enjoy starbucks - but what do you drink there?

    grande soy chai tea latte

    14. what is your advice to kids all over the world that want to be exactly like Jon Julio?

    dont buy a skateboard, buy some USD's

    15. it is April, 4 months into the year - to how many and what countries have you been too already this year?

    Australia, New Zealand, Rio- Brasil...Miami is a city in the states, but it's a city filled with the most beautiful women in the world..

    16. do you feel that you are portrayed in videos and magazines like you really are? or do you feel rather that poeple just aint getting The Head?

    Yeah I think people are understanding where I am coming from..

    17. Tell us a little bit about your youth...

    My dad was in the Navy so my family moved around a lot when I was younger..I guess I've been traveling all of my life..I was born in San Jose Ca. on March 16, 1977..I moved to Japan when I was 2. Lived in Japan for 4 years..Then I moved back to San Jose till the 2nd grade. Then I moved to Hawaii..I lived on Oahu for 4 years..then I moved back to the bay area again..and I've been here in Cali ever since...

    I turned pro when I was 18....I'm 25 now. When I'm not on tour I commute from Northern Califonia to Southern Califonia ..Dyna and Runners are based out of the Norcal and England Clothing is based out of Socal..

    18. there has got to be something that really pisses you off - what is it?

    These days not much pisses me off..too many amazing things happening..

    When you've done something for so long it becomes apart of you....You cant just quit..

    20. of major influences, who do you think will be the next Jon Julio or Dustin Latimer or Shima of the Future?

    First people that come to my mind are guys like Robert Guerrero and Dominic Sagona..These guys are amazing to watch....
